Configuration Management Engineer

Responsibilities:

► Defining and maintaining the product structure including options and variants, for prototype and series A/C

► Managing product changes via change process, conducting change review boards

► Ensuring configuration and change reports availability as necessary  

Tasks:

The Configuration Management Engineer:

► develops, creates, controls and maintains the product structure including options and variants.

► manages the drawing structure and the effectivity of configuration items

► acts as change owner of changes to the product structure, verifying the consistency of the proposed changes and ensuring the correct distribution of information

► prepares change request overviews and configurationreports for authorities and/or internal departments 

► conducts change review boards and change implementation boards when necessary

► interfaces with production organization and other departments to support configuration conformity

► develops, conducts and supports internal training in configuration and change management

► evaluates, proposes and prepares continuous improvements of tools, methods and guidelines in the CM area
