Job Summary
We are currently looking for System Engineer ECS – Air Condition for a contract position to join a company that design and build new Helicopter program.
This position is for EU/Swiss passport holder/Swiss work permit holder
Job Skills
Qualifications & experience:
- University degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5, better 10 years’ experience in Air Condition / VCS specialist on either CS23, CS25, CS27 or CS29 aircraft. Ideally with ECS experience on rotorcraft
- Candidates without a strong ECS systems background will not be considered – please don’t send profiles which do not fulfil this requirement
- Candidates with only design (CAD) experience will not be considered – please don’t send profiles which do not fulfil this requirement
Job Description
Responsibilities & tasks:
The main mission for the candidate is to be the focal point for the Air Condition subsystem development, with close support from the ECS Lead Engineer.
- System development
- Supplier liaison
- Specification updates
- System analysis with Amesim
- Conduct and attend design reviews
- Plan and conduct tests at equipment (supplier), system and rotorcraft level
- Close interaction with relevant stakeholders (Design, structures, safety, airworthiness, flight test, etc.)
- Author and check prototype flight clearance documentation and certification documentation
- Potential support to other mechanical systems (ECS heating and ventilation, fuel, engine, rotor brake, wipers, etc.) if needed, depending on profile
